FAQ
Is the videos API live?
Not yet. It is specified, and the GPU serving side has been built and measured, but the /v1/videos endpoints are not enabled in the web app. These pages describe the intended contract.
How long does a job take?
A full-quality (lossless) clip typically takes 50 to 150 seconds of generation, plus any time in the queue. turbo is several times faster. eta_seconds on submit is a rough guide.
Is there a progress bar?
No. progress is always null. Poll every 3 to 5 seconds and wait for completed.
Can I get 2K output?
Not from our fleet. The open checkpoint is limited to 768p on the short edge.
Can I make a clip longer than 15 seconds?
Not in one job. Chain fl2va jobs, using each clip's last frame as the next one's first frame, and join them yourself. See Tasks and inputs.
Can I upload a file as a reference?
No. Inputs are URLs that we fetch. Host the file somewhere we can reach, with a link that stays valid until the job starts.
My download link stopped working.
Signed result URLs expire quickly, and results are deleted after a short retention window. Request /content again for a fresh link while the result still exists, and save the file to your own storage.
Do I pay for failed jobs?
That rule is not set yet. It will be documented before the API is released.
What if I need to see frames live or steer a generation?
Use the realtime API instead. It is a different product, with small streaming models rather than whole-clip generation.
